What is Positive / Attachment Parenting?

Positive Parenting for many families, varies in form. This may be because of the core or what positive parenting is all about. That is, respecting our children and the wonderful blessings they are, and nurturing them. For some, positive/attachment parenting may include: the family bed; "extended" breast feeding/nursing; home schooling; etc.

This is a very informative site. The organizations statement is:

"All children behave as well as they are treated Our vision is a world in wich all children are treated with dignity, respect, understanding, and compassion. In such a world, every child can grow into adulthood with a generous capacity for love and trust. Our society has no more urgent task."

This site also has a wonderful quote, we wanted to share!

"All children behave as well as they are treated."
